SILVERADO PERFORMANCE
We encourage our Silverado 1500 buyers to look at how the truck performs. It features a 2.7-liter turbocharged Chevrolet engine and is available with a 5.0-liter EcoTec V8 engine. Some trims also work with the brand’s 3.0-liter DURAMAX diesel engine. Though most models include an eight-speed automatic transmission, some other Silverado 1500 trims have a 10-speed automatic transmission. Your truck’s payload and towing ratings will depend on the engine and trim you choose. The highest trims tow 13,300 pounds and have a payload rating of 2,260 pounds. These trucks also produce up to 495 pounds of torque.
